Univ starts in 3 days and I want to ask tips on how i socialize without feeling awkward (as someone that is "introverted by nature") 😅

I want to start anew as I am too used to people approaching me. How can i get along with people even if it’s our first time interacting? What conversation starters should I do or use? tyia!

for context, i am an incoming first year nursing student. i would consider myself “average” based on how i was during high school as i would only pass tests just by reading and memorizing my notes instead of understanding the concepts of what i am studying. not to mention that i tend to be distracted A LOT while studying when i feel like it gets too overwhelming. i also find myself kinda struggling in times when it heavily requires reading through a long passage of text.

i would like to ask help with the following:

1. any tips and/or recommendations on study techniques and methods i could use to study efficiently?
2. what methods should i do to improve my focus?
3. what study methods, techniques, and tools are most useful to do and use, especially in a field that heavily requires reading and memorization?

I’ve been meaning to watch shows like bsd before uni starts and yet i still have to find shows that matches its vibe, character, storyline, and aesthetic wise.
