Jabo/Vitro Jacket
Got this very rare Jabo/Vitro jacket in mint condition from another marble collector last weekend. He didnt know much about it other than he got it from an marble collectors estate sale. Got the hat and the t-shirt from the same guy. The bill on the hat is a little rough but still wearable. From the limited info i can find, these were only given to employees and special buyers. There were very limited numbers ever produced. This one is an 2xl and i have seen one other that was medium size. There is a story that Dave McCullough had one Here is a quote i found on a marble collector site "Very nice! I only know of one other, I think it was blue. Dave McCullough gave it to Eddie Winningham. Eddie later gave it to Ron Shepherd. Ron later gave it to someone, I forget who (Patry maybe?) and it has made it's rounds."
I love and collect Jabos and Dave's Appalachian Swirls and will be wearing this to shows and flea markets. Not for sale! Well maybe for the "i dont want to sell it" price, or a good trade. Thanks for looking.
