Results After rifixamin. I have extreme hydrogen levels.

These are my results after rifixamin. The first test was 327ppm. The main thing is bloating and chronic bad breath, it’s really making me depressed I don’t know how to stop the smell. Does anyone else have this issue?

Really struggling now

I was diagnosed with SIBO, took the treatment and did the diet, the numbers came down but the smell stayed. I really don’t know what else to do or to look, it’s room filling

Chronic halitosis

I’m still struggling with chronic halitosis, nothing is helping it. It can be room filling. I was negative for Hydrogen Sulphide but positive with high hydrogen, does anyone know what may cause this?

Suffer bad breath with SIBO

Does anyone else suffer with bad breath from SIBO? I was negative for hydrogen Sulphide but positive for hydrogen, but have foul breath. Did a round of Rifixamin and still no change.

Bad breath still persists

I got a SIBO diagnosis and took the treatment and still no improvement the smell is still there. I do believe it’s both nasal and oral. I’ve also had my tonsils removed, I just feel extremely lost and don’t know what to do next. Any help would be appreciated

Hydrogen SIBO

I don’t get any food triggers? Is the low fod map diet pointless for me? Would I be cutting out foods for the sake?

I’ve suffered with BB for over 10 years, been to dentist, ENT, had tonsils removed. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Hydrogen SIBO but not Hydrogen Sulphide SIBO. Do you think this is my root cause? I keep thinking it’s a leak in my nasal passages or mouth but I’ve been checked and apparently nothing there. Could the SIBO be the reason? Has anyone had a similarly experience? Thanxs

I was diagnosed with hydrogen SIBO, extremely high at 327. My Sulphide test was negative but I have a rotten egg smell from my breath, would this come from just hydrogen? I’m currently starting my low fod map diet but should I also do all low sulphur foods? I’m unsure. Does anyone else suffer from this symptom?
