Nanite symbionts in Deus Ex
In the original Deus Ex, the game introduced the concept of post-humans that augmented themselves to have super powers such as extra vision/senses, shields, and strength through symbiotic pseudo-organisms that live in a human's blood. Are there any other series out there that do a similar concept?

Something OOT accomplished in a great fashion is how after you get the master sword, the tone shifts dramatically in the game afterwards. The first third of the game is a fun childish adventure. Giant talking owls, giant whales and trees, sunny skies, etc. You become an adult and there are ghosts and giant spiders everywhere. The dungeons are realistic-looking locations with psychedelia playing in the background. OOT feels as if it's one of the only Zelda games alongside MM that's serious and does it in a good fashion unlike TP.
I think the reason aliens can't be found IRL is everything is simply too far away for civilizations to commonly interact with each other. After everything starts closing in in about 11 billion years all the hyper advanced civilizations that have been around for millions or billions of years will get to interact and talk with each other after an extreme amount of local isolation took place already.
