Conflicting Opinions

I am roughly 6 months out from D&C with no period returning. The OBGYN who did my surgery wouldn’t see me until roughly now, so I started seeking a hormone workup via telehealth. After labs and pelvic ultrasound findings, they believed Ashermans was likely. Complex fluid was present and my lining wasn’t even. I then went to my in person doc who kind of blew it off, but agreed to look, and said my uterus looked open, could see blood, and surely I was about to start a period. However, I’ve yet to see the blood materialize and it’s been a week.

I can’t help but think that I really am just being dramatic. My estrogen levels were on the lower side, progesterone was fine.

I was able to get a hysteroscopy scheduled with an out of town specialist, booked before I could see my local doc, but my local doc is now doing HSG and put me on progesterone challenge. I’m not sure if that would conflict with hysteroscopy, and I’m not sure I shouldn’t just cancel the hysteroscopy… I feel like I’m taking a spot from someone who truly needs it because I’m being dramatic.

I feel like maybe telehealth jumped the gun and I just need to keep waiting? But they also had more to gain keeping me as a patient vs referring it out, so it seems sincere…

If you’ve gone through evaluations, do you wish you would have had hysteroscopy with a specialist sooner than you did? I’m guessing most people haven’t had a hysteroscopy with zero scarring?
