I’ve been licensed and employed for a month now at a great local brokerage with tons of support and a reliable mentor. I’ve got that part down but now I’m into the real aspect that separates top producers from those that never make it; marketing.

The part I’m finding difficult as a new MLO is the value add proposition. You’re an experienced agent that’s been working with an experienced MLO for years, what possibly could someone like me that’s not even closed their first deal yet offer?

The reason I think this is important is because if my perspective deep down is that I really can’t offer anything better than what’s already out there, if I don’t believe it than I’m not going to be able to effectively sell myself.

I’m not looking for a magic bullet here, just maybe a different perspective that can change my own way of looking at it.
