R2 better than R1?

Hi there,

Please find below my profile
10th 92.8 percent
12 87.4 percent
BTech in NITR EEE 7.87 percent
Gender Female
GRE first attempt 310
2 years work experience as Product Manager and 1 year as Product Lead

I am wondering if R2 sounds like a better option for me as I have not properly trained for my next attempt of GRE

MBA-focused GRE Prep Advice needed (Strong Quant, Weaker Verbal)

Hi everyone,

I'm an engineering graduate from India with about 2 years of work experience. I'm planning to pursue an MBA and will be taking the GRE.
My first attempt at GRE with nearly just 3 weeks of prep got me 310 (150V, 160Q). Hoping to increase to 330

I've spent some time reading through this subreddit and looking at different prep options. GregMat seems to be one of the most frequently recommended resources

My background:

  • Strong in Quant and generally comfortable with math.
  • Verbal is my weaker section.
  • Vocabulary is a challenge for me, and I often struggle with unfamiliar words in Text Completion and Sentence Equivalence.
  • I can dedicate a few hours each day to studying.

My current plan:

  1. Subscribe to GregMat's 2-month plan.
  2. Follow the vocabulary program consistently every day.
  3. Focus heavily on Text Completion, Sentence Equivalence, and Reading Comprehension strategies.
  4. Spend less time on Quant initially and use it mainly for maintenance/practice.
  5. Take a diagnostic test and then adjust my study schedule based on weak areas.
  6. Complete at least one or two official ETS practice tests before my exam.

A few questions:

  1. What are the biggest pros and cons of the GregMat 2-month plan??
  2. Are there any common mistakes that beginners make that I should avoid?
  3. Which other resources will benefit me overall?

Thanks in advance!

Advice needed to improve score

Hi everyone,

I am full time employee working for 2 years in a product support and management position. I graduated in 2024 from NIT and have a 7.9 CGPA in Electrical Engineering.

I recently gave the GRE on 28th May after less than a month preparation and scored 310

However, I need 330 to attempt for competitive colleges like ISB or IIM in India.

I followed Magoosh and CrackVerbal for Vocab, Manhattan for Quant and did the untimed Practice test from ETS

I plan to give my next attempt in August mid. So now I have time, I would like the best resource or advice than can help me bump my score

Thanks
