So I’ve just finished the half half and I’ve noticed a few pointers I wanted to raise

- Vini is and is going to be so predictable all season.. sometimes it’s like he’s playing at 30% I know he can turn it on in a moment but honestly getting caught in the transition because of him or losing good opportunities is going to be piss me off if it carries through the season. I hope him having the fear of Rodrygo & diamonde taking his position give him a rev up.

- as much as I love Brahim man, he holds onto the ball just that little bit too much and always seems to give up possession in crucial areas of the pitch

- I really like Valverde and Bernardo running the double pivot- those boys are flowing nicely

- I’m so torn with Arda & Jude fuck.. Arda is so world class then you have Jude a metronome I almost want to play 3 at the back & have Valverde & Silva behind Jude & Arda & have them play as a double attacking CAM haha

- our overall play is very offensive which I’m liking but also not sustainable against teams that will catch us on the break, the midfield is flowing in certain waves. I really just hate seeing us build up we’ll only for it to be destroyed by Vini

Not gonna lie Mbappe is a freak just needs to keep onside more.

Shout out to Guler though

Trent needs to sort his passing out, I counted so many missed long passes

With potentially Rodri and Diomande pretty much done, we need to lock in on a solid CB

Bastoni/Schlotterback/Romero

Any one of these would be an amazing signing?

What’s everyone else thoughts

Would love to understand where everyone else things we need improving or if we’re done with our signings.

With the amount of games played and we want to compete in all comps I strongly believe all the reinforcements are going to help

Injures have been a common theme for us last season so I hope we can really be a threat this szn

People on multiple occasions mentioned Rodri was washed after his injury.

He’s literally a superstar & is still a giant metronome. He would be an insane leader & tempo dictator for us, We have lacked that presence massively since Kroos left us. I would still throw 100M on him even if he gives us only 3 good seasons that’s potentially 10 upto 10 potential trophies we could win. Including all the side trophies. 3 years is a long time. We need to be feared again.

France vs Spain is a perfect scenario of why just our deadly front won’t win decisive matches. France has arguably the greatest front line in the world. They were contained today. The same will happen to Madrid if we can’t get the centre of our team right.

I say we spend money on him. We don’t need Olise.

We need balance, we need people who are going to play for the badge.

We’ve seen how dominant Bellingham is in that 10 role. Rodri will only allow him to play that role without having to drop deep.

Bernardo/Rodri/valverde/Tchou will allow that for him.

We need to build a team around this system.

Who do we feel would possess the most leader like qualities & command respect from the dressing room above all for next season?

Would love to engage with everyone and discuss it.

I feel Curtois would be a genuine consideration, I’m just not sure how vocal he would be in the dressing room, it seems he just goes about his business and is a quiet achiever

I feel like Bastoni/Gvardiol is still needed, considering how intense football now and our injury track record having Rudiger, Militao, Konate, Bastoni or Gvardiol, Trent, Carreras, Ascensio gives us a lot of depth in the back.

I think for midfielder we need Stiller or Hjulmand or Rodri or McAllister

Front line I’d be happy with just one proper number 9 like a Osimhen, we lack aerial threat upfront badly
