New restaurant alert 🚨

Ok so I went to this new restaurant over by Bixby and it was so good. The prices r super fair, the customer service was great and they had a wide variety of food. They’re called Sakura sushi and ramen but they service other Asian food as well as spaghetti beef bolognese and spaghetti carbonara. They have a good selection of appetizers too. As for desserts, they have mochi and since they’re new they let me try their speciality mango icecream that they’re thinking of introducing to the menu. It tasted really good and so I wanted to share it with u guys. I think they do catering too but I’m not 100% sure.

Promo pay?

So from my understanding if you start dashing before the promo pay goes away like whenever it says +1 dollar more per order until whatever time. It’s supposed to be like that the entire time of your dash right?? Bcuz they stopped paying me promo pay on the last few orders I did. Maybe I’m wrong but from what I’ve experienced if you start your dash within the promo pay period then it should apply to all orders, even if it says until 8:59 or whatever.

Grocery orders

I know DoorDash would never do this but I wish they did a minimum of 5 dollars base pay on all grocery orders. So even if there was no tip or a little tip, the dasher would still get a fair pay. I think it would also offset DoorDash trying to compensate for lower offers too and we would be getting a fair deal. I mean grocery orders r definitely different than picking up an order… 5 dollars base pay actually sounds like the bare minimum.

How can u tell there’s no tip?

Weird question, how can u tell someone left no tip? I do by offer every time I dash but I’ve not been doing it for too long. I just don’t wanna take any that aren’t worth my time and wanna be wiser.

Btw I’ve argued and argued with ppl about the no tip and how just bcuz it’s optional doesn’t mean it’s not expected and the obligation is still there. Anyways… any other tips for someone who isn’t that experienced would be helpful.
