I am not an exceptionally skilled civ player, although I've been playing the game since civ2. I normally play one level below deity.

Recently there was a post discussing the combo of Lafayette and Rome, with some suggestions as to how it should be played out.

I played a game with the combo along with the suggestions and had an absolute ball. Can anyone point me to a list of interesting combos in ToT like that? Or offer some here?
