Walk from stove to sink?
Our stove is currently next to our sink (2nd photo of current layout). Someone on my recent post asked about switching the stove and fridge and I hadn’t truly considered it because of the walk to the sink. After mocking it up (1st pic) I actually really like the look. There’s about 6 ft from one side to the other. Is this a bad idea? (Thinking of carrying boiling pasta over to the sink to drain? 😅).
3rd pic shows current redesign on the fridge side- we’re adding a tall pantry. Moving the stove, I think I’d put it in the middle of the cabinet and drawers and have small counter space on each side. Right now the standing space next to the stove is small but the corner counter does give some prep space I guess. Will I hate having the small counter space if we flip the appliances?
