There's a Homestead Exemption Act on the nonpartison ballot tomorrow:

> "Shall the Act be approved which increases the homestead exemption from Gwinnett County school district ad valorem taxes for educational purposes in the amount of $10,000 of the assessed value of the homestead for residents of that school district, which represents a $2,000 increase in such exemption?”

I'm a homeowner, and while I would appreciate the tax relief I think that education is one of the most important investments for this nation's future.

What are y'all's thoughts on this?

edit: To clarify, the act is on all the ballots, I just saw it on the nonpartisan one first.
