I have a basic understanding of how the stability system works. I had an idea, on how to use it to my advantage.

Below is a side view of what I have in mind. For simplicity, assume a straight cliff face, so no support from the sides.
If I mine the ▒← mine here block, it will collapse the ▒← collapse this block.

My question is: Will I get the resources from the collapsed block, or will they disappear?

I had this very small loot stash map, that mainly consisted of a large, elaborate wooden pyre with a tiny chamber on top and a dead body inside (basically a multi level wooden tower).

There were also some torches around, so I placed an archer beside a torch, selected fire arrows and tried to shoot the construction, but it didn't let me.

What am I missing?

My questions are about the timer that is active, once my party enters a POI.

1. Is there a way to increase the available time by bringing certain supplies or equipment?
2. What are the consequences for the timer to run out?

I had a secret stash with a starting timer of only 1:06h. From how I understood the cache, I had to:

• build ladders and a mall bridge to get to a position to start digging into the cache
• break down multiple doors to get to the loot

When the timer was up and got to the "return home" screen, I could just press ESC and continue working towards the stash.

I had a bandit camp with somewhat around 20h, but the bandits outnumbered me, so I tried to build some defensive fortification and get some sleep before the battle. Midnight (with still some hours left on the timer), the bandits just opened their gates and left - I only had to fight 3 of them, as they left towards my camp. This means I missed out on the equipment of the bandits (but got no injuries) and still get the loot from inside the camp.

It looks like I can always press ESC when the timer is up and continue looting / gathering resources, without major downsides. What am I missing here?
