Teaching Pathways

Hi, just wanted to see if anyone has a similar history of education / has undertaken a similar pathway toward my goal. Essentially - I completed year 12 in 2009 and at the time only really cared about passing with a certificate, I only did half of my exams and then went on to successfully become a hairdresser and work in the industry for many years. In the last few years I have felt a pull toward a career change and ultimately I would love to work in Early childhood education or become a Primary School teacher. As far as having basically no ATAR score and only a myriad of life and work experiences as far as I can gauge an option for this pathway could be completing an Education Diploma and then moving on to do a Degree with applied credits - though I wonder if even the Diploma would require more than my Year 12 passing certificate only. I would be entering as a mature aged student and have also done a lot of volunteering and other work outside of hair. I have also seen there is a cert IV for Tertiary Preparation but I wondered if I could skip that entirely and go straight into the diploma. I appreciate any similar experiences or advice. Thanks so much

Blue ticket before visa renewal

I am currently here on a student visa studying at a Japanese language school. I have been here for a year and today I was riding an E scooter in an extremely busy area and naively thought I could pivot over to the very large bike path while I got through a densely traffic heavy area. As I stopped at a cross light a policeman waved me down and gave me an on the spot blue ticket fine of 6000¥. I was very obliging and I understood the terms etc however I am due to renew my visa for a second year as a student come this month as it expires in June through my school administration. I am a little terrified this could affect the application and wondered if anyone has any advice other than to promptly pay the fine.
