Vivaldi 8.0.4045.67

Since last upgrade my browser has developed a 1/2 second input lag when entering URL.

Really odd thing it only occurs with letter a and also lags on delete afterwards.

Only happens on Vivaldi, have tested Chrome and Firefox.

it's hugely annoying and I've not noticed this behaviour prior to last update.

I've cleared data/cache , tried different search providers but all result in the same issue.

Any ideas or solutions?
