Might be a hot take but i like the VQ

I think they need to modify it like making it so you can only join it if you have a valid badge and if you make it in the queue make it max 1 or 2 per person TOTAL. not per day. Then i think it would work good. I'm used to VQs at WDW so I didnt mind it. Id rather do that than wait in line for hours.

Overall this is my first d23 and we got the merch we wanted (no pins tho) so we are satisfied overall. I think next time I would try for the pins but I'm not a huge collector so it didnt matter to me as much as the spirit jerseys or other merch

Might be a hot take but why are the honda panels at 7

Like i feel since its at another building it should be like 8. This is ridiculous that I get here early, dont get let in at opening, and have to leave at 5:30. Had to leave the ravensburger queue because it took UNTIL 5 PM to get to boarding group 65.

Why is it taking so long to get into the floor

Its my first d23 but were in this room with a ton of other people and idk where we are going. The lines were not clear this morning and we spent time in a VQ line we weren't even supposed to be in. Now we are in a room and its past opening, where are we going??? 😭😭

What's the point of lining up at 6am?

Might be self explanatory but if you have VQs etc, what's the point of lining up at 6am?? Will it take forever to get inside or something? Or is it just to try to get to other booths ASAP

Need help with store VQ

Ive been trying to decipher some of the links with the merch and just wondering if maybe I'm not reading it right. I'm trying to target spirit jerseys, the "Disney Epic Rivals", D23 ears, and maybe some pins. I liked some of the princesses but honestly pins are not my top priority. What store(s) have this stuff? Is it the D23 store? Just trying to be proactive on what I want to look for/what store. Because I'm gunna be so mad at myself if I VQ for a store I didnt mean to lmao.

RSPs talent central

I was wondering if RSPs are available for walle/eve and the droids? It looks like it's just for actual signings but want to be sure

How does getting in and shopping work?

Curious if we should plan on being there early before opening. Not sure how it works.

Also is there gunna be merch all weekend? Or is it just a frenzy and its gone in the first day? I just really wanted to check out ravensburger, funko, and loungefly and get some d23 ears maybe. I'm just wondering how the shopping works and hopefully I can still get things just as we walk around

How do you guys style your badge?

First time going. I was surprised no lanyard came in the mail with the badges. Curious on what you all have done in the past? Do you bring your own lanyard? Trying to figure out a way to have my badge and Honda center tickets all in 1 baggie so I dont have to rummage through stuff to get to my Honda center tickets lol

3 day pass with Honda Center, is the Honda center a separate ticket?

Sorry if this was mentioned before but just got my passes in the mail. We did the 3 day ultimate including Honda center. The badges just say 3 day. The note that it comes with says that there are digital/print at home tickets for Honda center. Where were these sent? I just have a confirmation number

25% of net take home too much??

I saw a video of a few people getting into it about how much take home should go towards your mortgage. This guy said 25% of take home was unrealistic in today's world and another guy said 25% was too high. What is your opinion? We're doing a new build and been saving a long time and the mortgage will be 25% of our take home pay (11k net take home after 401k, healthcare, and taxes, around a 2800 mortgage at the current interest rates. No other debt besides cars that drop off in a couple years). I always thought 25% of take home was considered excellent, but now I'm second guessing...

What is your opinion?
