Two Birds Customer Service is 🤌

I haven’t been to Two Birds until tonight. I ordered a pretty simple cocktail and it was, frankly, the worst cocktail I’ve ever had. But, they fixed it in the way I asked and gave me my next comped. They aren’t perfect (who is?) but they have great customer service!!!

If you haven’t, hit them up before, during , or after a match, I’d recommend it.

Excessive $50 parking charge at library garage

Update 2:

Here is the link to the MO AG Consumer Complaint form. If this happened to you Sunday or any other time, filing enough complaints may get something done about this. https://ago.mo.gov/get-help/programs-services-from-a-z/consumer-complaints/

Update:

Metropolis Parking initially stonewalled me, but I mentioned their violations and said I would report them to the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and that seemed to “motivate” them to respond. I got a refund down to the normal posted rate for that garage.

If you received the same surprise “event rate” then I would suggest this tactic.

You can also mention this Tennessee settlement they just made to pay $8.75 Million in restitutions in Tennessee for these exact practices.

https://www.tn.gov/attorneygeneral/news/2026/1/12/tennessee-attorney-general-secures-settlement-with-metropolis-parking-to-stop-deceptive-practices-and-provide-free-parking-program.html

Their correspondence with me made it pretty clear they will not change their practices or stop their high price “bait and switch” charges. So I wouldn’t hesitate to file complaints to the city and state. Those complaints are how their Tennessee investigation and settlement happened.

Did anyone else park at the library garage today get charged $50?!

It’s insane! The library website says a $12 daily max and that’s what I’ve paid in the past.

With the drive in/drive out payment system you can’t talk to anyone and of course there’s no help line on weekends (and probably not tomorrow). 🙄
