Lenovo yoga slim gen 11 - Intel or Snapdragon?

So, I am one of those people very interested in a Snapdragon Latop - specifically Lenovo Yoga Slim 7X X2 Elite X2E-80-100 with 32GB RAM.

Now, I know its super overpriced, but aesthetics are important to me, and the 'thin and light with awesome screen' is a big seller for me. My company will pay about a third of the price for me, so that helps with that aspect.

I have pretty basic use case really. I don't expect to do any or much gaming at all, and same goes for graphic design or 4K video editing. Probably overkill for that, but I'm kind of fixed on this

Not interested in Linux or niche apps. Purely a normal home office machine that just happens to be super fast, beautifully designed, and futureproof.

I guess I'm worried about future support, and how frequently qualcomm pushes out updates.

There is an intel variant with Ultra 7 355. But I get so confused with all these different Intel chips I have no idea if this one is 'good' and comparable to the snapdragon in speed and efficiency, or runs hotter / more power hungry.

Is the intel the clear better choice? Safer for sure. But, seeing reviews on how quiet, power efficient these X2 chips are make them very interesting.

Or, is ARM on Windows too young at the moment and I'm much better off.

Thank you for any opinions!

Anyone get the Lenovo Yoga 7X Gen 11?

Hey guys,

Found this sub because I'm super interested in the Lenovo Yoga 7X - with 32GB RAM and the 120hz screen.

It's a LOT of money, and I'm nervous about buying one, especially as I have ship it in.

I saw a post here about the bad build quality, but was wondering if anyone else had any impressions they want to share about performance, build and so on? I'd really appreciate it!

I guess I'm worried about future support, and how frequently qualcomm pushes out updates. I also see that there is no option to limit battery charging to 80%? This would probably be a problem as I'll be using the machine plugged in a lot of the time in my home office.

Probably overkill for that, but I'm kind of fixed on this. I just want to see some candid impressions!
