Ongoing Frustrations with trying to find what may be causing it all
I 32F finally was able to see an ENT earlier this month after waiting some time. The consultation and scoping showed that i have a deviated septum, a collapsed nasal wall and a decent sized adenoid in my left nostril. The doctor, while kind, was also somewhat not greatly helpful in the apnea questions I had. I've been dealing with chronic tonsillitis for some time now and have multiple thyroid nodules that are big enough to be causing me a great deal of discomfort. She said that I should use Nasacort and Flonase spray and that a tonsillectomy wouldn't improve my sleep apnea. I am considering getting a different opinion because I am increasingly becoming more frustrated and struggling with the APAP machine. I have sensory issues with things on my face, nose bleeds often and waiting for a biopsy to be done on my thyroid cysts. I am 200lbs and stand 5'8", but my sleep issues have been occurring long before I became obese in the doctor's words. But when I've tried telling this to specialists, they just dismiss it with a "huh." Or "ok."
I'm tired of this, grandpa.
