Associations?
You guys that operate your own business, do you belong to any organizations like a homebuilders association or anything like that and does it work for connecting and drumming up business? Co-op with realtors or something?

So looking at a lot of the metrics out there for efficiency, plus minus etc and they all paint a decent picture of effectiveness but they all have flaws as well. PER, for example ignores things like spacing gravity, defensive collapse, hockey style assists, potential assists. We all know a dynamic guard can feed a perfect pass but if your teammates don't belong on a middle school team let alone in the W, why does that fumbled pass get credited to the passer?
BPM tried to fix some of that but still relies too heavily on the box score. It has creator dissolution and cant account for that scaling.
So what about something that tries to incorporate the stuff those metrics are deficient in and give a more accurate picture of a players effectiveness to the game, their own play and that of their team.
So I looked at other things mentioned above not in the box score and came up with CPE, Created Points Efficiency. The core components of CPE:
Positive Credit
Points scored
Assisted points
Potential assists
Secondary assists
Shot quality created
Defensive attention drawn
Pace creation
Adjusted Negatives
Difficulty-weighted turnovers
Only penalize unforced errors
So calculated value: CPE =
[PTS
+ (AST × 2.2)
+ (Potential AST × 1.3)
+ (Secondary AST × 0.8)
+ Gravity Impact]
− Adjusted Turnover Cost

Offensive Possessions
So just a sample size of Aja, Clark, Paige and Reese they end up in that order with Aja Wilson scoring a 9.6/10, CC 9.3, PB 8.4, AR 7.2
It gives a better sense of a players overall impact imo.
