Base Hospital Certification After Leaving a Service
Wondering if anyone had details about retaining base hospital certification after leaving a service? I'm in a position where I need to leave my current service, but I don't have another job lined up (and likely won't for at least a few months). Would I lose my cert and need to do scenarios again when I reapply or would they just deactivate and reactivate me as needed?
And if I were to apply to a service under a different base hospital, would I be able to cross certify if my cert is deactivated? Or would I need to re-certify from scratch with the new base hospital?
Ideally I'd wait until I had another job lined up but some personal issues popped up and my service denied me a leave of absence so I'm trying to weigh my options in the meantime. Thanks everyone!
