Does anyone know of any good national medico-legal conferences coming up in the UK?

My partner works as an expert witness and is looking for something worthwhile to attend next year. London would be ideal as that’s where he’s based, although online attendance would also be useful.

Ideally something covering medico-legal practice, expert evidence or clinical negligence, and offering CPD hours.

I’ve had a look around Google but there seem to be quite a few different events, so thought I’d ask here if anyone has attended one they’d recommend.

My brother’s got his Skilled Worker visa extension coming up in August, so I’ve been trying to look into what’s changed recently and I came across something about salary checks under the April 2026 updates.

From what I understand (could be wrong), it’s not just about the yearly salary anymore in some cases, and they might be looking more closely at how pay works across actual pay periods ... especially for people with overtime, commission, or irregular hours.

Has anyone here actually spoken to their HR or immigration team about how this is being handled? Just trying to figure out how real the impact is in practice.
