I know the El Sayed/McMorrow primary is receiving all the national hype, but I thought it’d be fun to talk about another progressive Democrat nearby and their opponents and get peoples’ thoughts. I don’t think I’ve seen it talked about here. Hope this type of post is alright given the primaries are coming up.

District 10 goes as far out as Rochester Hills, but extends pretty close to Detroit by Warren/Grosse Pointe.

Amanda Treppa is a non-profit leader and the political newcomer, she’s up against Mark Murphy Jr and Natalie Price. Treppa’s running as a progressive, the latter two don’t even seem to have a real platform. I know for a fact Price is a closet racist, but she’s already gotten the support from Warren Democrats. I’m voting Treppa, but maybe I’m missing something. I don’t know much about Murphy Jr.

Thoughts? Anyone here in the district? Do people still vote in primaries? Lol
