There's a mass victim complex situation happening with us Lebanese people

Now hear me out. I've mentioned in this post before that people in Lebanon judge the state based on their own convenience.

I've been seeing videos circulating about the interaction between the sheikh and the internal security (darak) officer, most of you have probably seen it. And when you look at the comments you see almost everyone acting like the officer is doing this because the sheikh is shiaa not because he's doing his job of removing violations rightfully so. And the situation gets spun into some big conspiracy against shiaas.

I'm not talking about shiaas specifically tho, so another example is how a lot of sunnis also claimed the same victimhood over the islamic prisoners thing and called it a conspiracy against sunnis. (While i understand some of these prisoners weren't rightfully detained this is not the issue I'm talking about here)

I don't have specific examples about say Christians or druze or whatever, that's not what I'm doing here so please don't take it out of context. I'm pretty sure people from all sects have done the same thing.

What I'm trying to say is that you will always see people rally behind their sect before the general public's interest no matter who's in the right. Our state is not perfect, far from it, but us as people are also very chaotic and unorganized and it honestly looks like we hate law and order at this point.

We tend to always spiral things out of control, from any routine application of the law you will see a significant amount of people opposing it, just to claim victimhood and say the state is working against their own sect. Yes it almost always ends with something about sects and religions. A successful country can not be built while we prioritize personal interest over the general interest. And unfortunately you see people from the same sect act like a monolith in Lebanon because religion is not a personal thing but rather a political rallying tool.

Those who are against a ceasefire, genuinely what else do you want?

First I'll start by saying I'm not talking specifically about this last agreement as many people view it as unfair and doesn't guarantee the Israeli withdrawal but rather the continuation of their aggression without the right to respond.

But every time a ceasefire or a peace plan is mentioned, hezbos jump to call others zios and khawana and 3umala. Last time I checked, the opposite of peace is war. Is this what they want? They said their weapons negotiate and what it got us is Israelis deep inside Lebanon.

They started the war to support gaza and in extension this war with an entity that's clearly superior in power. They understand that diplomatically we are inferior, we don't have any cards to negotiate with, but they don't see that they're also inferior in firepower?

Knowing that they willingly signed the 2024 ceasefire. And they don't want that to happen again, they don't want to give up their weapons, they don't want to negotiate AND make it makes sense but they also don't want war. It sucks to be on the losing end of a war but what other options do we have and what is it that they want to happen. Do they want Israel to say yes my bad I'll withdraw rn after they started the war with them.

Let's be real our government is shorthanded and might be incompetent but they're doing what can be done. We let an armed militia start wars from our land and said armed militia now wants everything to go their way.

Edit: this question was prompted by seeing so many posts online of hezbos and their bi2a calling every effort toward peace treason
