! TW SA! FMC defends MMC from sexual assault/unwanted sexual advances/unwanted comments

I am looking for books where the FMC defends the MMC from unwanted sexual advances. I feel like this thing comes up a lot the other way around (MMC defending FMC) and I read one of Olivia Dade's book recently (unfortunately I can't remember the title) where she defends him. I loved that the author flipped the dynamic amd I'm looking for more books that have this.

It doesn't have to be a sad scene, I'm here for FMC just being a total badass and taking no shit from anyone. And MMC is maybe a bit stunned and proud. Basically, I want the FMC to be a badass and defend her man. Bonus for check-ins/serious conversation after. Double bonus if the book adresses harmful stereo types, e.g. women can't (physically) defend their partners or men can't get assaulted/sexualised without wanting it.

A book that doesn't directly have this but deals with him being seen as a player that I also read was {{Hook, Line And Sinker by Tessa Bailey}}.

I'm mostly looking for CR, but will read other genres too.

I hope this is allowed, if not, I'll delete it.

Thanks!

Caretaking throughout the whole book

I'm looking for books that have caretaking throughout the whole plot, not just one or two scenes. I've read quite a few where there are short scenes where one MC takes care of the other, but I'm looking for something more across the whole book/plot. It doesn't have to be super dramatic or obvious, little actions to ensure the other person is okay also totally work. I love people making each other tea, cuddling after a long day or sick care as much as I love dramatic wound care or defending in battles — emotional care is great as well . Just loads of caretaking!

I'm open to any kind of pairing – FF, FM, MM, pairings with a nonbinary character, everything works! I'd prefer contemporary or fantasy and human or at least humanoid characters, but I will try other genres too. Books I've read that come close to what I'm looking for are {{Breathe the sky by Michelle Hazen}}, {{The bone houses by Emily Lloyd-Jones}}, though that's YA, {{Out of the blackness by Carter Quinn}} and {{Roleplaying by Cathy Yardley}}.

If there already are requests like this then I haven't foubd them while searching the sub, but I'll delete this.

Thank you!

Have your reading habits changed over time?

I'm curious. Have your reading habits changed over the years? For me, they absolutely have!

A few years ago, when I read romance, I only read Contemporary Romance or Historical Romance; lately I've been getting into romance with non-human characters too. Also, I used to dislike bittersweet romance, now I love it; I loved 1st person POV, now I much prefer 3rd person. I also started reading on a Kindle – a few years ago, I'd have been adamant about only reading physical books. Some tropes that I loved years ago I don't anymore and I've discovered a few new ones I adore.

Have you noticed your reading habits changing? And in what ways? I'm curious!

They're both genuinely gentle people and with each other

I searched this sub for similar requests but couldn't find any. The ones I found ask for soft FMCs or soft MMCs seperately etc. If I missed them because I used the wrong search words, apologies, then I'll delete this post.

I'm looking for books (FF, FM, MM, NBxany, poly, it doesnt matter) where the MCs are just genuinely kind people. No alpha men especially, please. They should just both (or all, if poly) have a very gentle, sweet personality without being incapable of standing up for themselves. Kind acts for the people around them, easy to get along with, genuinely friendly etc. And they should be kind towards each other – no playing games, no acting cold, etc. Loving teasing is very welcome though.

Bonus if one or both are going / have been going through sonething horrible and they just care for each other and are very supportive. I just want the two to be very very soft for each other. If the book addresses certain stereotypes (such as men can't be gentle/vulnerable or wlw relationships have roles where one is 'softer' and the other isn't, etc) and deals with them, that's also very welcome.

I apologise if this is worded weirdly, I don't know how to say it differently. I hope you know what I'm trying to say, which vibe I'm looking for. Books that have that dynamic that I've read are {Morbidly Yours by Ivy Fairbanks}}, {{Unwanted by Mia Sheridan}}, {{Get A Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert}} and {{Breathe The Sky by Michelle Hazen}} although I strongly disliked the >!unecessary third act breakup!<.

If there are many requests like this and I just couldn't find them, apologies, I'll delete this.

Thanks!

FMCs love language is cooking/baking for the people she loves, but it's NOT her actual job

Apologies if the title is worded weirdly!

I'm looking for books where the FMC loves cooking and/or baking and shows how much she loves her LI by giving them her baking/cooking. Other people, like family, too of course, but the LI shouls be the one that most often gets what she made.

However, I'd like it if the FMC wasn't a chef or baker, but had some other job – it's a hobby for her and she loves it, but it's not her profession.

Bonus points if her LI is taken off-guard by her pampering them with baked goods/her cooking but secretely absolutely loving it. Maybe they just didn't have anyone doing that for them before and don't know what to do with that kind of affection. Double bonus points if it FMC does it more than once, I just want lovely scenes including her cooking/baking.

FF, FM, FxNB, all welcome. I've read {{Breathe The Sky by Michelle Hazen}}, {{Morbidly Yours by Ivy Fairbanks}} (though FMC bakes once here I think and I want it to be more often) and {{Baking Lessons by Katie Allen}} and {{Mixed Signals by BK Borison}} which, If I recall correctly, all had this to some extent. Those are all FM, but I'd also love some FF recs!

Thank you!

I'm looking for books (FM, FF, MM, any other combination – it doesn't matter) where either of the MCs is a gardener / enjoys gardening. I'd love descriptions of the gardening, why they love it, maybe they get their LI to try it too or gift them plants/flowers.

I've already read {{Almost Heaven by Judith McNaught}} and liked it so much I want more. Thank you!
