Flying with frizzante wine?
I am currently traveling and have picked up a few bottles of a frizzante wine (Bonarda in particular, we were told by the winemaker it is at about 2 bar) and am a bit concerned about checking it in my luggage. My key point of concern is that the wine is in a normal bottle and the cork is NOT under a cage. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on this?
I would obviously prefer to bring the wine back home but won’t be distraught to discard it as it was mostly picked up for novelty.
