I understand that it’s impossible to cache globe tiles for every possible zoom level, but caching at least the most zoomed-out level seems quite reasonable.
On flights without Wi-Fi, I’m usually able to find a zoom level with cached tiles. Recently, however, I encountered the following broken behavior at every zoom level, making the “current position” feature kind of useless.

Spending a few days in the Amalfi Coast in early July with my wife. We're staying in Amalfi and getting a scooter for a day or two to visit whatever is between Amalfi and Positano, so we don't need to rely on the public buses (I've ridden motorcycles for a couple of years, so no fear of scooters).
I've already tracked good parking spots (public and paid) for all places we plan to stop - except for Fiordo di Furore.
It doesn't seem to have any good (or at least legal) parking spots around it. Old TripAdvisor posts mention a nearby restaurant, but it has ~5 spots, and based on my travel dates in the high season I don't expect any will be available.
Looking at Street View, it appears many people park their scooters right next to the beach entrance, even though there are clear signs forbidding it 😅
Has anyone driven a scooter to Fiordo di Furore and can provide some tips?
I'm always afraid of being unethical outside my country, especially with a rental, but I feel there's no other option except to drop the scooter idea and ride the bus...
