TLOU Production Maple Ridge

TLOU Production Maple Ridge

Massive Blue screens going up around the set in Maple Ridge, looks like production at this location is ramping up. Going under the title B & P (Bella & Pedro!?!?)

TLOU Season 3 Production

After seeing Gabriel Luna’s Instagram story that production has resumed on The Last of Us Season 3. I went to the Maple Ridge shooting location and that production site has tripled in size. They have at least 3-4 different sets on that lot now. Including some iconic set pieces from the game that they will be filming there (I won’t say for spoilers). Looks to be still building at least 1 more large set at the back as well.

Sailboat spotted

At The Last of Us set in Maple Ridge there is an interesting sailboat spotted on the lot (IYKYK). Also lots of construction going on and it looks like there will be multiple set pieces planned here.

So cool to this world being setup.

Winter Chapter Part1

This might be a hot take but I think the Winter chapter is the best part in TLOU. Playing as Ellie is a fresh change and the gameplay with her is so much fun. The infected scene with David makes you believe that he is genuinely good at first which is a nice twist the first time you play it, when you find out what he is really up to. Overall my favourite chapter in the first game.

Also, I absolutely love this chapter in the game and the show, I think both had their unique takes on it. I liked the games infected storyline with David, and I wished they had that in the show. However, I liked Ellie and David’s storyline in the show better when she was in the cage and the restaurant. Just amazing storytelling.

Love it or hate it, it’s very hard to deny that The Last of Us is one of the biggest shows in the last decade if not more. According to this article it’s at no. 4 for popularity on HBO Max over a year after its last seasons launch.

This show is so massive for HBO and Sony, and people think it’s getting cancelled or won’t get the viewership for Season 3.

Also, it’s going 4 seasons!
