Reminiscing a few years back - Starcatcher World Tour
Their new song popped up on my playlist today. It brought back such fun memories of that whole experience a few years back, while they were on the Starcatcher World Tour.
I'm an aura photographer and had the absolute honor of capturing their auras on film.
Sam and Josh had really similar coloration — what I refer to as the “As Above, So Below” variation, it's a great mix of being grounded - but still connected to the cosmic realms. Josh also had some beautiful pockets of magenta - creative and unique. I believe we did another take that had more yellow in it, which Jake also had. Empowered, radiant and joyful.
And then there was Danny, with those saturated blue shades most deep feelers have.
Getting to meet them and give them a brief interpretation of what their aura colors meant was SO much fun. They seemed incredibly connected to themselves and their intuition. We only got to talk for a little while, but they have such a presence and they seem to really move with intention.
My favorite part might have been when I got to fangirl with Josh about his EPIC Jerry Lee Atwood from Union Western Clothing tarot suit, which still lives rent-free in my head all these years later.
I mean… that thing is GORG.
What immediately caught my attention was the tower, one of my favorite cards. And one that always gets a bad rap. We ended up bonding over it because Josh has the tower on the front of his suit, while mine's actually tattooed on my leg. The tower card represents crumbling old structures (or patterns) to create space for something new. So to me, it's more a representation of breaking free - liberating yourelf from what no longer serves you.
Needless to say I'm a fan and looking forward to their next album!
