Film types in FF2R. Reload speed and damage
I don't remember that anyone mentioned it since the release of FF2R. Also, I might be wrong, because I didn't test it that much.
It seems films of different types in FF2R work exactly like in FFMoBW. Or more precisely, it turns out in FFMoBW, they were working that way all this time. On my first playthrough a few years ago, I didn't notice it.
| Fastest to reload, deals the least damage | Type-90 |
|---|---|
| A bit slower, but more damage | Type-14 |
| Significantly slower, much more damage | Type-61 |
| Slowest, huge damage | Type-00 |
In FFMoBW it's less noticeable, since overall reload speed is higher than in FF2R.
I didn't really check FFMotLE. It seems different. The only thing I know is that films don't reload when switching, unlike in FFMoBW and FF2R (partial reload). I didn't play FF1, FF2 and FF3.
In the end, I don't remember games clearly explaining it. Only something like "this film has higher exorcising capabilities". Also, the numbers on films are not intuitive then. 90<14<61<100?
