a Xiangqi desktop app that may help you
I play Xiangqi as a hobby and like watching Xiangqi games. When analyzing a Xiangqi game, my pain point is to explore alternative moves, and navigate back to the original game. I also prefer offline, no paid subscriptions. So I end up making a desktop app, called "Xiangqi Lab".
Main things I focused on:
- Offline, no paid subscription
- Open source
- Work with Fairy-Stockfish and Pikafish
- Emoji-style pieces
- Multilingual
Here’s what the interface looks like when analyzing a game (require external engine).

I’d love to hear how you guys analyze games on desktop or mobile. Do you face the same issues that I was facing? Would something like this be useful to you?
The app is on the Microsoft Store if anyone wants to try it (search for "Xiangqi Lab").
