Wrong Recycling Dates Schedule Mailed
👋 Good afternoon EP! So I know most people don't worry about this sort of thing or even really care lol but I thought it'd be good to post about it. Especially since I haven't seen it addressed anywhere yet.
These calendars the city mails out to ensure everyone knows their recycling days are actually a week off.
My recycling day was last Thursday, June 25th, but according to the new calendar
I had another recycling day yesterday, July 2nd, except I didn't, it's actually meant to be the following week on July 9th.
Full transparency lol my husband is a garbage truck driver and his supervisors have been made aware of the issue.
It's unclear if they're going to provide replacements and I'm sure they are telling people who call customer service to just check the calendar online for accurate dates.
El Paso leadership is always slow to react and pushes rhetoric statements that don't actually address the issue. But anyways,
I know a lot of older folks enjoy the calendar, so if abuelita's annoyed her blue bin wasn't picked up, this is probably why.
