My Biewer with an Azawakh

My Biewer mainly has big dog friends for our on leash adventures. He always looks so tiny compared to his long legged companions. I'm very fortunate to have great friends with well mannered big dogs to hang out with.

(For those unfamiliar the azawakh are an extremely lean breed & it is completely natural and healthy)

Big Legs & Little Legs

My friend joined us with her azawakh. The two of them enjoyed their hiking around Tiger Mountain.

Clean again!

This will last all of about 24 hours 😂😂. Weekly grooming at our house is a must and I've been learning how to do everything myself.

More adventures for Goose!

Another alpine lake hike for little Goose. He gets super filthy so bath time happens the second we get home.

Snow Lake 7/19/26

It wasn't as crazy as I expected even though it was a Sunday. Managed to separate ourselves from the larger groups and find some quieter spots by the lake.

Snow Lake, Washington

My little adventure buddy! It was a heck of a workout on me. I carried him the whole way up and then most of the way down (he's a puppy so he doesn't need to be doing the hard work)

6+lbs and growing!

His first Alpine Lake (Blue Lake - Okanogan Wanatchee National Forest)

He is a 5.5lb adventure dog! I am loving my new tiny dog privileges and hiking adventures.

Ears looking good!

All of our ear taping is paying off. I think we are mainly done but keeping a close eye on them.

Beacon Rock 6/28/26

Did a quick overnight camping trip to Beacon Rock State Park & hiked up the Beacon Rock Trail. Not too crowded and nice views on a late Sunday afternoon.

Bonus: a lot of owls at the campgrounds!

First Camping Trip!

Goose had his first camping trip at just 5 months old! Beacon Rock State Park, Washington.

Adventures with Goose!

Goose is starting to learn how to be a hiking dog! I still carry him a lot since he's only a 5 month old puppy but he's learning how to get down and dirty on the trails and we are planning our first camping trip.

New tiny hiker!

My biewer terrier puppy is my new hiking partner. I'm still carrying him since he's too young to do anything too long or hard but it's been such a nice change having a portable hiking dog.

He's getting a little trail time in and learning to cross little streams, mud, etc.

Practicing for our first show!

Excited to show him in the 4-6 month old class. He's doing so well in class and is such a smart little dog.

Bow Time!

Finally growing just enough hair for his show bow! I've ordered a bunch more for our upcoming shows.

Fresh Groom

I currently do all the grooming myself. Daily brushing, weekly bath, blow dry, etc.

First toy breed and will be shown. He's been really fun getting to know and practice my grooming skills. I'll be practicing some hair wrapping too once it's longer.
