Remember my question from 2 days ago about alien neuromods? Anyways...

I finished all my tasks in Crew Quarters and had 3 spare neuromods left. I was thinking about getting something like shapeshift to sneak into Iliyushina room. But then I chickened out AGAIN!! I thought "Maybe later..." And went to the deep storage.

AND LOOK WHO WELCOMED ME AFTER I ENTERED ARBORETUM

It was not as scary as I imagined actually. This thing chased me for 3 minutes. It was kinda chaotic, bc I was trying to scan it and all the Fantoms around it. Yeah, priorities. It was unexpected, yes, thrilling, but not scary. I like how it barks at you, reminds me of my parents' dog :D

And I still don't understand how it ended up here. And why January did't say a thing about it.

Well I guess it was the sign that I should try typhon abilities after all...

[Spoiler] Are alien neuromods worth it?

>!I played this game back in 2020, and even then it was so so scary for me. I think I overestimated myself, because I was playing on a hard difficulty. And I was SHOCKED that right after I decided to install an alien neuromode, a giant NIGHTMARE appeared in the main lobby. And I was PERTIFIED by the fact (yeah I googled it) that it chases Morgan throughout the rest of the whole game.!<

>!So I've decided to replay this game 6 years later and lower the difficulty for a bit. But I'm still not sure about the cool alien powers anymore, because the thought of constantly being chased kinda annoys me (or brings discomfort lol). Is this thing easy to kill or avoid? I want to hear your opinions because all my friends are too scared to play this game lol. And I've just entered The Crew Quarters, so I've not that far into the game.!<
