Moving truck when doing manual entry.

Was doing my manual entry there, only had just changed the end of yesterdays shift to other work and the driver moved the unit. It’s kicked me off the manual entry. Will this tacho think I’ve been on other for since yesterday and not rest?

Tacho question

Stupit question but when double manning does the person who’s driving card need to be in slot 1? Or can you hit 2 and it’ll switch? Tried this last week and it just kept the driving record on the first slot

Tacho

Fired it on break for my 15 min, decided to reverse a bit to give a bit more room for people passing. Put it back on break but I thought I took it off too soon. Am I right on saying that showing 30 mins left mean it would have registered a full 15 minute break?

Breaks question

Second time I’ve posting on here about breaks😂 started at 05:30 got to Aberdeen at 09:20 to a 45 till 10:05 to reset my driving time to get back. Would that have covered me till 16:10 when I finished? I took an extra 15 around half 3 just incase

Quitting tramping

Bit of a random one, has anybody on here ever tried tramping and gave up in the first week? Like half way through the week just thought nope and headed home?😂 I’d never tramp so I wouldn’t waste any employers time but I will say I don’t see many really negative comments about it, which is good because you’d have to really want to do it to live away all week.

Garmin sat nav

Doing nights at the moment, got a Garmin satnav it’s not showing road closures. Sometimes it clicks on while I’m on the diversion sometimes it doesn’t do it at all. Is this just satnav or is there something I could check incase it’s not set up right. Would be nice to know ahead of time I’ll be held up that finding out on the road😂

New driver infringement

Got my first infringement the other day. Started at 18:00, took a 15 mins at 23:00 ish, then worked till 01:15. It said I needed another 30 minutes. I honestly thought I understood WTD. When after the first break or the 6 hours did I need the other 30 mins? I thought the 30 after a 15 was to reset driving time. It’s threw me off a bit I don’t understand how I’m not getting it

Don’t know how it works this out, can this be achieved without trying? I’m relatively active, golf, gym, hillwalking bit if running here and there but I drink most weekends and smoke all week😂 in my early to mid 20’s I was out constantly on the piss doing god knows what so I can’t say I’ve ever tried to be “fit” the watch also says my fitness ages is 26, I’m 32 now and spent the last 2 weeks sitting on my arse since swapping no nightshift at work😂 just seems it over exaggerated my health. Anybody else think this
