• The P1–5 pool was actually larger last year (494) than this year (437) — so if anything, this year's P6/P8 applicants have slightly less upstream competition from P1–5 than last year's did.
• The overall applicant pool also shrank a bit year-over-year (7,790 → 7,079), roughly a 9% drop across the board.

The people are still justifying normalisation is crazy, especially that one post that said efforts never betray you, but the problem is that the question isn’t about efforts. The question is of pure luck. I have scored 244 in accounts and my total raw score is coming out to be 912. But the day my scorecard was released my score, came out to be 880 and the problem is. I’ve lost 32 marks and I’ve seen so many cases have lost so much more marks than me, and I am not sitting here whining about normalisation being unfair, but can you please stop defending normalisation as if it is some perfect system because it is not there is no way. Kisi ke 100 marks cut rahe hai.
