no major shenanigans i can think to update on, he’s definitely chilling out after neutering! we’ve (i’ve) been busy with a getting a new promotion and the pride festivities! my friends and i had a fuggler making night and of course i had to commemorate merlin’s pink era… i love my son and we’ve been enjoying our lovely little life <3

he passed out on the ride home, was really obsessed with his cupcakes, and his lil pizza from the restaurant had a really great time!!!

like extra naughty since it’s been raining so much here and he’s not getting his usual run around time… he stole the brush, tried to steal the carding knife and shears, i just wanna get my boy pretty for his party😩

because his birthday party is this week, can’t believe this little bug is already 1

merlin is… stinky and his stitches are all gone so i’ll be grooming him in the next week or so, i’m a professional groomer and already planned on filming the process for my business socials but would yall also wanna see it here? would that be helpful for at home maintenance and coat care? it’ll definitely be a longer process since he is in pretty nasty condition but i think that’s good since he’s usually getting such minimal work done that it’s not realistic for most other pups! idk, just thought i’d offer in case that’s something anyone here is interested in seeing! let me know 🫶🏻

anyone else have a cav that goes crazy before they have an episode? like i think he can smell the migraines (and lots flare ups too but im usually more aware of those) and he just starts licking like crazy?? is this normal for cavs or is merlin just an extra freak?

first of all Merlin is happily cone free and missed cuddling so close! second of all we’re nearly half way through may which means pride season is coming up and it will be merlin’s first pride this year and i’m debating on taking him so some events… we do have a sling that i can wear to keep him fully off the ground so that’s no biggie but what’s y’all’s experience? any tips or advice?

poor guy has razor burn from being shaved too close for his neuter, he’s in. the cone for a couple days instead of his suit to let things air out and he has discovered that if mama is laying down he can plop his cone on her head and kiss trap her :/

this was a MAJOR tlc session over anything ears and tail were totally matted and he came in filthy and i couldn’t believe he was only 2

he turned 1 on the 3rd but his party isn’t till the end of the month so he can finish healing from his neuter and play with his friends! he is barely 16 pounds, he likes bell peppers and cookies and cuddles with mom. he’s currently in the cone because they shaved him too short for his neuter and gave him razor burn on his boy bits so we’re taking a break from the suit to air that skin out. anyways please tell him happy birthday even though it’s a little late <3
