This BS degree has some of the topics from engineering and some of the topics from business management. So, you are not able to master none of them. You just have half knowledge about both of them. To work in like real world business companies, you need mastery over one thing, like either engineering or either business. And doing engineering and then doing MBA is another thing, which is like considered as best. Moreover, they do not have a placement cell. That is like a huge issue. You are paying like 30-40 lakhs. And even if 30-40 lakhs doesn't matter to you or like you can afford it, but imagine spending 30-40 lakhs and getting nothing in return. IITs are IIMs because of their placement cell only(and also the peer group and fest ). And they don't have it. And the campus is also, at IIM Mumbai is not really big and... And it is not really worth it. And I think we should give it four-five years so that one batches could be placed and we get to know what is happening, like what do other people who are done with this BS degree, what are they doing? Are they getting placed or what is the placement scenario and everything there. Talking about, you will see that many IITs, IIMs are launching new programs. This is because of the funding issue. This is not because they really want new programs. And this is because of that only. And talking about, जो BS degree है, उसकी ज़्यादा value नहीं. वो आप ghar से भी कर सकते हो, IIT Madras से भी कर सकते हो. अब तो बहुत सारी IITs ने भी BS degree निकाली. तो BS degree तो कोई घर बैठे भी कर सकता है. So, BS degree is like not really of worth as much as BTech is of worth. Doing a BTech degree in any NIT ( any branch except like chemical and all) is far, far much better than this BS degree.
