Recommend me some fantastically written fics!
I’ve recently gotten into fanfic and while I’ve read some truly phenomenal stuff I’ve also recently fallen into a slump of reading a lot of stuff that does not match my vibe. Now, I’m not too fussy with the ships (though I am very biased toward wolfstar) as long as the pairings feel realistic (e.g adequate slow burn and strong character arcs to make dramione make sense etc). Would looove to hear what you guys have read that I should check out!
Some fics I’ve LOVED are All The Young Dudes(OG and Sirius’ perspective), The Disappearances of Draco Malfoy, Manacled, DRAMATMOBIL.
What I like in a fic: characterisation and premise that feels very realistic or true to canon, complex and well developed characters/arc,
What I don’t like in a fic: heavy smut, heavy focus on the ship especially when at the expense of good storytelling or accurate characterisation, crack fics, AU that is too far from canon (eg Art Heist, Baby!)
