Please don’t report me or ban me for stating my opinion, I’m grateful for this sub but I need to be transparent with everybody and get this off my chest( current student)
Look this subreddit has helped me so much, as I was waiting for my first disbursement and also while I sit here and wait for my second one coming up, and while I wait for my last class to get graded so I can receive my laptop. But man, I have to get this off my chest so please be nice guys, as I mean no harm when I say this.
There are way too many current students, and even former students(recently withdrawn) that were so quick to bash this school.
Do I feel like I may have been scammed? Yes. However everything isn’t said and done yet. Truthfully this school made it easier for all of us to be able to continue on with our lives, while working towards receiving our degree.
Call me crazy, but even though I’m not expecting this to end well, I am actually praying that it does. I am actually praying that somehow maestro can somehow either keep its accreditation, or something happens to where this all works out well for us all in the end(those of us that are seriously wanting a degree) through a legitimate teach-out plan or something.
Trust, these imbeciles pissed me off too. When I originally enrolled I was promised a laptop(MacBook Air) soon as my term started, I signed up and enrolled 5-6 months before I was to actually begin, (June cohort) and long and behold by then they changed the rule to us having to wait till after the first term for the laptop, and the laptop would most likely be a MacBook neo(which pissed me the F off). But at this point I want to continue my degree,
I am hoping these idiots sending me my laptop soon as the next term begins in a few days, and I’m hoping my next disbursement is also sent in the coming week or two as it’s supposed to.
I am not celebrating Maestro’s downfall, and respectfully (not all of you, a small select some) seem to be celebrating it and forgive if I’m wrong for saying this as this is solely just my opinion, but you look like a bunch of idi***.
I’m anxious about what’s to come, I’m anxious about what path I’m going to have to take to ultimately finish my degree, and not a single part of me is celebrating what is happening here.
Again, I want to apologize to all as this may come off as offensive, but that’s not what my intent was here. I’m just already sickened by the current situation, fearful if I’m going to get my laptop sent out within the next week as I was promised(they still haven’t graded my final class from the last term even though I passed which is why I’m waiting on my laptop still-and waiting to give them my info and fill out paperwork) and trust me they pissed me the HELL OFF with their late ass first disbursement delay which backed me up incredibly with my bills, and because it came so late I’m still backed up hoping that the grace of God brings my next scheduled disbursement quicker.
All in all, we need to cheer less, and work towards supporting one another.
People are on this sub talking about reporting them etc etc which is only causing more delays for the things that were promised to us, I’m sorry but does this not sound crazy to some?
I hope in the end one way or another we all get the opportunity to receive our accredited degree, either from this dumb ass school, or one that they designate for us, and I really hope that our next disbursements come in a timely manner(not like the last one which took a whole damn term to be sent to us) and those of us from June cohort and prior, get our laptops sent ASAP.
Guys we need to stick together now more then ever, and that also means not rushing to report this school cuz reporting them I believe is just delaying our shit even longer.
