Is it just me, or did Arizona’s character completely change after the plane crash?

I’m doing my first full rewatch in a couple of years, and I’m noticing so many things I missed the first time around. One of the biggest shifts for me is definitely Arizona. Before the plane crash, she was easily one of the most upbeat, bright, and genuinely fun characters on the show. She brought this amazing, positive energy to peds that balanced out how dark the hospital could get.

But looking at the seasons after the crash, it feels like the writers just completely stripped away everything that made her "Arizona." I completely understand that she went through massive trauma, losing her leg and dealing with severe PTSD, so it makes sense that she would change. Still, it feels like she never really found her way back to herself, and her storylines just became so bitter and exhausting, especially with how things ended with Callie. Did anyone else feel like her character never truly recovered from that arc?

do tennis chains still feel classy or are they starting to look overdone now?

feel like tennis chains used to look really clean and classy, but lately I've been seeing them everywhere and I can't tell if they still feel timeless or if they're starting to look overdone. some people style them really well with simple outfits, while others go so oversized that it almost feels more like a trend piece now. wondering if the trend already peaked.

do you still see tennis chains as classy, or are they starting to lose that feel because everyone has one now?

thanks in advance.
