The Well of Ascension concerns

Hi everyone I’m currently reading the second book of the mistborn series and just got to the part where >!Straff does his test attack!< in chapter 25.

I really enjoyed the first book where things felt like they were constantly happening and actions were being taken.

But for this book it definitely feels much slower paced and feels like it’s going in circles of.

- vin getting upset about childhood or not being good enough
- vin and oreseur get into a debate debacle
- Elend struggling and feels he isn’t good enough

Don’t get me wrong there have been some very intriguing parts with the watcher and sazed that I’ve liked but I feel like the story is both progressing yet nothing is really happening at the same time.

Idk if it’s me because this is the series I’m reading after red rising and I’m sure as some of u know that is just a fast paced onslaught of action and peak moments. So maybe I’m being bias from that but I’d love to hear ur thoughts.

No matter though I will continue and finish this story with Vin.

Favorite Quotes/Speeches

Hey everyone I know a post like this comes up once in a while but I’d love to hear a more recent take on everyone’s favorites.

I’m getting towards the end of lightbringer and I’ve realized now that I should have been highlighting all the quotes that really got me excited/emotional/sad etc throughout the series. Anyway - I wanna see which quotes stood out more to people than others.

If u can also include the book to the quote/speech was referenced in and potentially by whom that would be awesome!

One I can think on the top of my head is….

>!“The Bill comes at the End”!< - morning star

Light Bringer chapter 45

HOW MUCH BETTER CAN THIS BOOK GET? I just finished chapter 45 and I am speechless. I really was not expecting that at all and I felt I had to share to see what other people felt and took note during this chapter.

>!This was where the dust maker got taken over by atlas when he was faking being Helios!<

>!>!I realized Atlantia wasn’t mentioned for a while but the fact Lysander was her little toy the whole time. He never had Rhône and his army, the ascommani under her control. How will this affect his gameplan from here.!<!<

Chapter 20 - Lightbringer

I just finished chapter 20 of light bringer and oh my god am I scared to read the rest. You’re telling me there’s about to be a full out war on one planet with the strongest characters we have ever seen and I still have 400 more pages to go.

This series has been amazing thus far and I’m scared to see what characters I love die in the battle of war.

Without spoilers for this book I’d love to hear how nervous people got while reading any previous moments from any of the books. For me, one that stood out from recent memory was ephrahim.
