Secret's new member Yebin explained the background of her joining the group, stating that Jeon Hyosung contacted her directly after seeing an article about her survival program debut falling through. 

On the 27th, a video titled 'Kim Ji-seok's Favorite Girl Group Comeback | Kim Ji-seok Secret' was uploaded to the online channel 'Kim Ji-seok My Inner Jewel'. 

The video shows Secret's Jeon Hyosung, Zinger, and Yebin appearing as guests and having a talk with Kim Ji-seok.

Yebin, who was selected as a new member of Secret, explained the background of how she joined the group, saying, “I originally debuted briefly when I was in high school, and after that, I participated in the female vocal group audition survival show 'Girls on Fire.' The debut group from that program fell through. (Although I didn't make the debut group), Hyosung happened to see that article and contacted me personally.”

Jeon Hyo-seong explained, “Before debuting with Secret, I was supposed to debut with a group called ‘Oh So Nyeo,’ but the debut fell through. The PD of Secret at the time saw that and contacted me. So, I thought that if they were looking for a new main vocalist for Secret, it would be better to find someone with some experience rather than someone completely inexperienced.”

When asked, “What is the age difference with your older sisters?” Yebin revealed, “I am twelve years older than Zinger,” to which Zinger replied, “Just say we are the same age,” drawing laughter. Yebin was born in 2002, making her 12 years older than Zinger, who was born in 1990, and 13 years older than Jeon Hyosung, who was born in 1989.

Meanwhile, Secret, reorganized into a three-member group consisting of Jeon Hyosung, Zinger, and Yebin, recently released a special mini-album titled 'Secret Flavor'.

Song Ji-eun, formerly of the group Secret, shared a glimpse of her simple daily happiness by revealing that she has finally acquired the vegetable garden she has long dreamed of.

On the 30th of last month, Song Ji-eun posted a photo on her social media along with the caption, "I finally have the vegetable garden I wanted so, so much. I guess I’m at an age where I love nature more and more."

The photo captured Song Ji-eun personally handling the soil and planting seedlings in her newly prepared garden. The excitement of a novice farmer was clearly conveyed as she crouched down in comfortable attire and gloves, carefully compacting the soil.

Later, Song Ji-eun could not hide her proud expression as she gazed at the carefully planted seedlings and the cherry tomatoes ripening to a bright red.

Furthermore, the sight of the couple spending leisurely time, such as engaging in casual exchanges with neighbors they met while tending their vegetable garden, brought warm smiles to the viewers.

Song Ji-eun shared, "Although I am a novice farmer with no prior experience in farming, I planted seedlings with excitement, and seeing the cherry tomatoes ripen red within a few weeks made me feel inexplicably proud and fascinated." She added, "The small interactions with neighbors I met while tending the garden were a more significant source of healing than I expected," and revealed her future plans, stating, "In the fall, I will sow seeds more diligently and cultivate the garden with care." Meanwhile, Song Ji-eun married YouTuber Park Wi in 2024. The couple recently appeared on SBS's " Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny " to share their daily lives since marriage.

Actress and singer Go Woo-ri, formerly of Rainbow, participated in Secret's Challenge while pregnant.

On June 24, Go Woo-ri posted on her social media, "Go Secret! I keep humming the song. Secret songs are the best for prenatal care! Ice Cream Challenge with my lucky charm." The photos and videos show Go Woo-ri meeting Secret, who recently reunited with a new member and released a new song. Go Woo-ri performed the challenge for the title track "Ice Cream" with her baby bump and added a message of support, saying, "It's been a while since I've seen Secret. Go Secret!"

Jeon Hyo-sung, Yebin, and Zinger expressed their affection for Go Woo-ri's loyalty in participating in the challenge even while pregnant, leaving comments such as, "Our unnie's loyalty is truly the best," "Thank you, senior," and "I love you, Woo-ri." Meanwhile, Go Woo-ri debuted as a member of Rainbow in 2009 and is currently active as part of Rainbow 18 alongside Jo Hyun-young. Go Woo-ri, who married a businessman five years her senior in October 2022, recently announced her pregnancy.
