Just noiticed this about Mei old design
Have anyone noticed the texts saying "two sides" and do you see those eyes changes? Additionally so do the attitude/expression
The 1st one feels like our current Mei, cheerful and warm, while the 2nd one shows more dominance, is cold hearted tho
I wonder what is that for because our current Mei doesn't have any things related to personality changes or alter ego
You can say Mei is still a swindler, which is close to being 2-faced, but overally Mei's character doesn't change that much. Not to mention those eyes
Or the author has been planning this since the beginning? Like maybe eventually Mei would reveal something

The only way Nasu can make things go his way is violent. I don't think he will be able to make Mei betray Gero
