I recall the episode I think in S4 about a boy who controls some kind of fungus organism, and how that later played out as the plot if Stranger Things.
On my rewatch I also noticed in S1E14 Ability, when David Robert Jones comes to the FBI HQ and demands to speak with Olivia and no one else, this would be the same opening story of the show The Blacklist: James Spader comes to the FBI HQ and demands to speak with Elizabeth and no one else. The Blacklist came out in 2013 so right after Fringe eded. This is my 4th rewatch and I just noticed that 🙂
Not directly related but I noticed that Jeff Pinkner is one of the producers on the show From which is also sci-fi and in the similar realm as Fringe.

Any other similarities you recall between Fringe and other shows?

I read the old discussions about people experiencing different voices like distant telephone chatter, or hearing songs etc. I understand that there are sounds implanted intentionally in the tapes, but my experiences with sounds usually happen after the tapes stop playing.

I’ve head a couple of occasions when once the tape stops playing, I can hear two people talking: can’t hear them very clearly but sounds like (someone here made a good analogy) on an old analog telephone.

Then a few times I could hear what sounded like a radio station with music and DJ. And right now, I just finished one of the Wave 3 tapes and immediately after the tape stopped playing, I can hear a radio station. Since I am still wearing headphones, trying to hear as clearly as I can😁, it’s some kind of rock and roll music station. Listened to a couple of songs that I didn’t recognize (I am also not an expert in rock and roll music), commercials, then DJ started talking. Tried to identify the station but the sound isn’t as loud for me to hear words very clearly. I could hear a few words like Pennsylvania (?… I am in Canada btw), and then he spoke of something happening on Saturday June 27th which is this month in a couple of weeks. Now I am just sitting with my headphones still on because I am still tuned to that radio station.

Anyone had similar experiences?
P.S. I listen to the tapes on an ipad, and when I disconnected the headphones cord from the ipad, the radio stopped playing. I guess that the device is peaking on some radio frequencies?
