Laser hair removal recommendations

Hello! I’m trying to find a good clinic for laser hair removal. Seems like Therapie is a standard one. Anyone got experiences with them? BareUK in st Aldate’s seems a bit more professional to me from their website? Any recommendations?

Products and techniques to make life easier

Hi friends,

Since I payed for private appointments in the UK just thought I’d recommend what both doctors suggested which is a product called Naydaya victory oil 🤷‍♀️ I’ve tried it now and it’s really smooth I’m surprised ! lol not advertising or anything but generally good products and good advice are scarce. There’s about one thing every now and then that adds to my quality of life so thought I’d spread the knowledge.

Both doctors advised lidocaine as well ? But not sure if it will get messy and gross ? I don’t want to put it on at 8am and then it’s there until I get back from work at 6; feels a bit gross? Any experience?

Other things that have helped me:

Huge effect: cutting down on coffee, tomatoes, oranges, and alcohol.

Donut cushion at home has been amazing!

Also the YES VM moisturiser has been great for the dry days.

Washing with cetraben overnight ointment in the shower and that’s nice too.

Getting back into cycling short distances and got a cushioned saddle. My approach will be very short distances for desensitisation.

Also for desensitisation I got a kiwi. It’s fun but I think fingers could do the same work but I guess in a more unpleasant way haha. Not sure it justifies the price for me!

What are your suggested products/ techniques to make everyday life more bearable ??

Is it ok if my photo in the declaration is black and white? My referee doesn’t have access to a colour printer !

This is for UK naturalisation application!!

I’m silly. I’ve done everything alright I think- I got redirected to TLS and I just booked an appointment for the next day (less than 24 hrs) without realising it’s the same portal for the documents and you’re supposed to submit documents in advance of the biometrics appt!!!

I have all the documents except the referees of course and there’s no way I can get those in the next hours.

The tls service in my town doesn’t have a phone number.. how flexible are they gonna be if I go there and say I need to reschedule??? I could be sick or needing to cancel anyway?? Any experience with that??

Many thanks

I’m so sorry I cannot find this anywhere online…

Im applying for Naturalisation after ILR (Settled status).

Before paying, I provide the details of two referees.

Then it’s my understanding that I’ll get a link to upload forms. I realise I’ll need to upload two referee declarations. What is that?!?

Option 1 for what this means: I just print two declarations, attach my photo in each of them and scan them and put them there??

Option 2 for what this means: I print the two declarations, attach the photo, get them signed by my referees and then scan and upload??

Also which is the correct form?!? Like which pdf should I use? Is it the same for both referees ??And where in the guide does it tells you which pdf it is?!?

Thanks

Hi fellow unlucky yet beautiful people,

My pain is significant with touch and friction and I get flares that I have notice are very driven by food (coffee for example and oranges) as well as hormones (peaks at period and post period- calm around ovulation). But also just a baseline pain no matter what for 6 months now.

Lately I’ve been experimenting with trying to apply pressure on the painful area despite the pain. I try to push for a few seconds, leave it, and then again. I’m not sure if it’s too early or just some lucky and easier days but seems to be having a surprisingly good effect? Is this crazy?

Only one of the doctors I’ve seen have suggested this technique explicitly, and that was a few months ago but at that time I had zero faith, and couldn’t go anywhere near the area anyway, and also was still getting rid of an aerobic vaginitis and thought that just ending infection would sort me out which it didn’t.

Anyway wondering what is peoples experience with massaging and applying pressure in the area (mainly vestibule and inner labia minora), if there’s any resources you can share on how to do this correctly, or any information that you’ve been told and was helpful ❤️

Many thanks
