I seriously need course registration advices,,, (first year)

Hello, I'm a Korean int'l admitted to Trinity on the Soc Sci category.

I applied intending to major Poli Sci, and am currently trying to decide if I want to major or minor in Stats. (If I minor in Stats, my other minor might be French, but not so sure yet)

Here are some concerns I have at the moment:

  1. Fall Tuesday looks very packed (or is it not?) and I have no conception of how exhausting it would be. The reason I have SOC100H and POL106H together is because I applied to FLC and those two courses are what I signed up for. If I want to free up Tuesday a bit, I might have to decline my FLC offer (if accepted), which I don't prefer doing. So I want to know if FLC is actually worth participating in, and if my current Tuesday schedule is doable.
  2. I currently have 5 courses planned for Fall and 4 for Winter, so I'm looking for one more in Winter. I felt like needing to fill in some of my Breadth requirements, so I'm looking for some course recommendations in Breadth (1), (2), or (4).
  3. How hard is it to get into seminars? I want to take POL196H in Fall, but I have no idea how fast first year seminars fill up, and what my chances are if I get waitlisted. I was considering making an alternative plan in case I don't get in.

And I just want to know if I'm not confused with anything or missing anything in general. If I am, please do point it out asap and get me on the right track.

Any word of advice or concern will be appreciated.
