Tenchu Ayame's Tale ~ Stealth Kill Recreated
For the J2ME version of Tenchu, anyone who has played it probably knows this: currently, only the European versions of the game ROM are available online, and in the European versions, the stealth kill is just a red screen. However, the Japanese version screenshots circulating online do show stealth kill scenes. This is quite a big regret.
However, as the remake development is nearly complete, I dug deeper into the game data and discovered that there were actually some unused skeletal animations and camera data. In the end, I found that they were actually data related to the stealth kill. What a huge surprise! The programmer of the cut-down version must have been slacking off and didn't delete this part of the data, so I reconstructed the stealth kill animation. However, because this stealth kill animation has never been leaked online, although the shots in my reconstructed stealth kill animation may not be 100% faithful to the original stealth kill animation, it still makes up for a major regret of the missing stealth kill animation.
