Won $200 Ticket to Stake Centurion Tournament with $0.01 buy in, my experience playing a micro tournament

This was the 3rd tournament i’ve ever played. went on for good 3.5hrs

7200 total players and top 100 got the ticket.

The moment tournament started with 7000 players it was utter chaos ;)

every single person went All-in with whatever cards they were dealt. Ig this was to get an early chip boost if you win, or just rebuy when you lose (there were 4 rebuys available, but only for first 10 mins, so people were quick with their all ins)

things got serious around top 1000, people were playing bit more technically

then top 150 was the funniest thing i’ve ever experienced.

people were just wasting time and folding, hoping that someone else gets knocks out and they make it to top 100. Players were tight af

it was funny and intense at the same time, I was barely surviving with my 4-5BB

I myself folded AK suited at top 104, didn’t want to take the risk of getting knocked out at 104th rank after playing for 3hrs. 4BB were enough for me to make it to top 100 at that point if i kept folding, as there were many players with 0.5-1BB just lurking around and wasting time and hoping they make it too.

One particular player, made it to top 100 with their 0.5BB stack since top 120, everyone at the table started throwing money emote at them as sort of celebration

And once we reached top 100, the shit show started again, random all in with zero care

I didn’t do that though, i called my 2.9BB with A7s against one villain, they had 22, they won with quads and I ended up on 82nd rank

I assume, Shitshow started at 100 again, coz payout was from 20th rank starting with $100 or so, so ig some people were just tired and wanted to shoot up their BB or go home with the ticket

This was my first time going so deep into a tournament, wondering if the table psychology is similar at those live WSOP tournaments as well? wasting time, manipulating clock, going super tight and super lenient at certain stages? would love to know more about it.

Also, not sure what to do with this ticket, it is showing in “My Ticket” section, but when I click on it, it says “No tournament available for this ticket”.

Anyone has any idea about it?

Pardon me If I sound like a fish, coz I am. Started playing poker very recently

OP is black and 700 rated.

I dont want to trade queens, as I generally don’t do well when queen is off the table.

also I think if I trade queens here, my bishop or pawn will be hanging and I will go on backfoot.
