I'm starting a postgraduate degree next year, and I was curious about what living off campus as a postgrad looks like in Cambridge. A few questions, if anyone's got the time:

• When should I start looking for off campus housing?
• Where would you recommend I look for off campus housing? I've used SpareRoom previously, but is there a better site to look at for Cambridge?
• Anywhere you would actively recommend I not look for housing? I'm fine with travelling any distance, so that's not a concern for me.
• How is living on campus vs. off campus, excluding the distance? I'm in Hughes Hall for context.
